Interested in Testing Beta1
I got nice emails from Dan and Bill that they would like to test Beta1.
Thanks Guys, I didn't publish your comments because they both had your email address inside.
The 3.4.5 Beta1 is now ready for download on www.netvigilance.com/winrt

Hi,
I downloaded WinRT 3.4.5 beta1 and got it going mostly without a problem.
However, I am now trying to get the mail functions going. I was hoping it worked like bugzilla - just point it at a non-authenticating SMTP server and the mail works. I haven't used RT in a couple of years ... Does RT require the ability for users to send mail back to it, or just to broadcast messages out?
In particular, I am unclear what each of the below settings control when RT::MailCommand = SMTP.
How does RT::SMTPServer get set? I found a setting in the registry, but it set RT::SMTPServerOrig. Are sendmail settings relevant when RT::MailCommand = SMTP?
RT::SMTPDebug 1
RT::SMTPFrom rt-noreply@mycompanyh.com
RT::SMTPServer localhost:6977
RT::SMTPServerOrig 172.16.0.37
RT::SendmailArguments -oi -t
RT::SendmailBounceArguments -f "<>"
RT::SendmailPath /usr/sbin/sendmail
Thanks,
Bill
